Summer Glau

 Her first TV role was as a guest-star in the 2002 episode of Angel. She was spotted by director JossWhedon who then made her the character River Tam in the critically-acclaimed TV series Firefly. The role she played for the feature film sequel of Serenity. Glau had previously auditioned for the Power Ranger role (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssa Erile, White Wild Force Ranger) in Power Rangers Wild Force. But, she fell short to Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon. The actress had a small role in the movie Sleepover that she played high school senior Shelly. She also appeared on the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" " The second season of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girlfriend of Jeremy Erhart). In 2006, Glau played Tess Doerner, a paranoid schizophrenic returnee in the second season's premiere of The 4400, and became the main character in season three and beyond. Mammoth was also her horror-comedy role. Glau was also a part of ABC Family TV's movie The Initiation of Sarah. Glau played Cameron Phillips in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. This series debuted January 13 in 2008. The 7th episode of the show, "The Demon Hand" included a number of scenes in which Glau, in character as Cameron performs ballet. In the second season's episode "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young the human doppelganger of Cameron. Glau also starred as herself on a CBS episode of The Big Bang Theory's satirical comedy.
